The Nature of Chios is a precious part of our life as Chios citizens.
Chios Island is a traditional island which has still preserved its
character and life style. Largely unspoilt by the impact of the rapid
evolution of the rest of the world, Chios's nature is still yielding new
discoveries worthy of being highlighted and commented upon. The purpose
of this website is to provide a forum through which resident and
visiting naturalists can post details of their discoveries and
observations of interest to other naturalists. Special thanks to Mike
Taylor who is inspiring us to be more concerned with the protection of
the nature of Chios.
